Fish Telecom

Peering Policy

Fish Telecom (AS 24098) operates a dial up and broadband network on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Our current broadband offering is based around a wireless tail technology of speeds between 512kbps and 10Mbps.

To better the delivery of data, reduce AS hops and ultimately reduce transit and transportation costs, Fish Telecom embraces an Open Peering Policy. As such, Fish Telecom advertises all routes (regardless of geographical location) within its Autonomous System at all its interconnect points to all peering partners.

This Policy applies to all requests for settlement free interconnections (commonly referred to as SKA peering) either via a direct dedicated connection or via a public peering point.

Our main transit arrangement for 2008 are with Teleglobe International (AS6453) and NTT Australia (AS2914).
