Setting up a Dial-up Connection Manually with Windows XP

  1. Click the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel" option.
  2. In the Control Panel screen double click "Network Connections" icon.
  3. Click the "Create a new connection" or "Set up a new connection" option.
  4. In the "New Connection Wizard" click "Next".
  5. Select the "Connect to the Internet" option and click "Next".
  6. Select the "Set up my connection manually" option then click "Next".
  7. Select the "Connect using a Dial-up modem" option then click "Next".
  8. Type in the ISP name, suggest name "Fish Telecom" then click "Next".
  9. Type in the phone number 0198333849 then click "Next".
  10. Type your username & password Click "Next".
  11. Select the "Add shortcut" option then click "Finish".
  12. Click "Dial" button.
  13. When connected double click on your Internet Explorer web browser to surf the Net!
